GENARCH v1.0 — Initial Atlas Release
Initial release of the GENARCH atlas with seed content focused on asthma, PM2.5 air pollution, IL33 genetics, NF-κB pathway, and the PM2.5–IL33–NF-κB mechanism brief. Includes knowledge graph linking disease, exposure, gene, pathway, and tissue entities. Community module provides placeholder for Loudoun County, Virginia.
GENARCH v1.0 — Initial Atlas Release
This release marks the first public availability of the GENARCH gene–environment atlas.
Disease: Asthma - Complete profile with genetic architecture (IL33, TSLP, ORMDL3/GSDMB, IL1RL1, RAD50) - Real GWAS data (rsIDs, p-values, effect sizes) - Heritability and PRS transferability notes - Exposure modifiers: PM2.5, ozone, prenatal tobacco, endotoxin - Tissues: bronchial epithelium, alveolar macrophages, mast cells, Th2 lymphocytes
Exposure: Ambient Air Pollution (PM2.5) - Definition, proxies, systems affected - Sensitive windows: prenatal, early childhood, adolescence - G×E: PM2.5 × IL33, GSTP1, TNF
Gene: IL33 - Epithelial alarmin; asthma-associated eQTLs - Pathways: NF-κB - Linked diseases and exposures
Pathway: NF-κB - KEGG hsa04064 - Environmental triggers, key genes - Linked to asthma and air pollution
Knowledge Graph - 8 nodes, 12 edges - Edge attributes: evidence_type, direction, tissue, strength, confidence, sources, year_first_reported, ancestry_rep
Community: Loudoun County, VA - Asthma hospitalization and prevalence stats - Exposure layers: PM2.5, industrial proximity, food access - Hotspot model with SHAP summaries
Data Sources - GWAS Catalog, GTEx, EPA AQS, Virginia Department of Health, scientific literature with DOIs
