GENARCH — Genetic Epidemiology Network for At Risk Community Health

Genetic Epidemiology Network for At Risk Community Health

A Gene–Environment Interaction Atlas for Northern Virginia

A systems-level atlas mapping gene–environment interactions, exposure modifiers, and molecular mechanisms across diseases, pathways, and tissues — focused on Northern Virginia.

Scientific Foundations

Genetic Architecture

Curated GWAS, eQTL, and polygenic risk data organized by disease, gene, and tissue with transparent scoring rules and ancestry representation tracking.

Environmental Modifiers

Exposure characterization from air pollution to psychosocial stress, with dose-response patterns, sensitive windows, and population-level effect modification.

Gene–Environment Interaction

Tissue-resolved mechanistic hypotheses connecting statistical associations to biological pathways through curated mechanism briefs and network analysis.

Disease Modules

Each module maps genetic architecture, environmental drivers, and gene–environment interactions for a specific condition.

What is GENARCH?

GENARCH is a read-only scientific atlas that maps how genetic susceptibility and environmental exposures interact at the molecular level — focused specifically on Northern Virginia. It integrates GWAS data, tissue-resolved gene expression, biological pathways, and local environmental conditions into a navigable knowledge graph. All data points are scored, cited, and transparent. GENARCH is not a health tool, risk calculator, or clinical decision support system.
